Goal:

• Support continued collaborative action within organizations and across the Public library sector to provide positive, proactive engagement of young people in libraries.

Objectives:

• Provide opportunities for staff development and mentoring of all staff - everyone serves youth.
• Provide opportunities for young adults to work in the library (eg. community service and working on library programming)
• Advocate for young people’s needs in the library.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the body of knowledge about young adult library service provision.
• Collaborate on youth projects with other colleagues and community organizations.
